Does VignetteGo work for trucks, or only passenger cars?
Currently passenger cars and other vehicles up to 3.5 tons only. Trucks, buses and other heavy vehicles use distinct tariff classes in each country and typically require account-based tolling, not vignettes.
Do you sell vignettes for Croatia, Italy, or France?
Italy and France use distance-based tolling, not time-based vignettes. Croatia also uses distance-based tolls and ENC in 2026. Its nationwide free-flow electronic toll system is scheduled to launch on 1 March 2027, when VignetteGO plans to add Croatia to its portfolio.
How do I know my vignette is actually registered with the state authority?
After payment, your order enters a manual fulfillment queue. During our operating hours, a VignetteGO specialist submits the customer-provided details through the relevant official portal. Your vehicle is covered only after registration has been completed and from the validity shown in the official purchase confirmation. Payment or an order-confirmation email is not proof of a valid vignette.
Can I buy a vignette for a vehicle that doesn't belong to me?
Yes, with the vehicle user's permission. Enter the actual licence plate, registration country and vehicle category, plus any additional details the form requires. For a rental car, confirm the assigned vehicle and check whether it already has a valid vignette before ordering.
Do I need an account to buy a vignette?
No account required. We only collect what the state authority needs to register your vignette (license plate, vehicle country, plus VIN for some countries and passport number for Moldova) and your email for the confirmation.
How fast does the vignette activate after payment?
Many countries allow an official vignette to begin on the registration date or on a future selected date. With VignetteGO, payment first creates a request for manual fulfillment. Central Europe

In the Czech Republic, a highway vignette is mandatory for many vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. The Czech highway vignette offers several validity options.

When travelling east, you may also need a Slovak e-vignette.

For trips to Austria, see the Austrian digital vignette. Official start-date rules depend on the product and sales channel. VignetteGO processing is manual; always rely on the official purchase confirmation for actual validity.

Southeast Europe

The Hungarian e-matrica offers daily, 10-day, monthly and annual options and is essential for trips to the Adriatic or further east.

For seaside vacations, you'll use the Slovenian e-vinjeta with weekly, monthly or annual validity.

Eastern Europe

For trips to Romania, you need the Rovinieta – it offers options from daily to annual, suitable for both transit and longer stays.

The Bulgarian e-vinetka offers weekend, weekly, and monthly options, ideal for Black Sea vacations.

Routes to Moldova pass through Romania – you'll need both vignettes.

Switzerland and Alpine journeys

The Swiss e-vignette is annual: it covers the previous December, the named calendar year and the following January. Check which year covers both your outward and return journeys.

A motorway vignette does not cover every separate tunnel or transport charge. Check the roads and crossings on your actual route.
