VignetteGo vs official state portals
Each supported country has a relevant official toll-operator portal or authorised channel where a customer may buy directly. VignetteGO instead provides a paid, human-performed intermediary service for customers who want a specialist to handle the official purchase on their behalf. This comparison explains the trade-off.

✅ Use VignetteGo when…
- your trip crosses more than one country
- you do not speak the destination language fluently
- you want to pay in a supported currency
- you want a specialist to handle the manual official purchases and provide the available confirmations in one account
- you are ordering for someone else with their authority
🏛️ Use the official state portal when…
- you need only one country and speak the local language
- you want to pay the absolute minimum with no service fee
- you need a truck or bus vignette (only state portals sell these)
- you have time to navigate the official UI in the local language
Official portals we are talking about
For transparency, these are the official state or toll-operator portals used for the relevant countries. VignetteGO is an independent commercial intermediary and paid registration service, not a state issuer, toll operator or government website.
Is VignetteGo legitimate?
VignetteGO is operated by KarmaPower s.r.o., a registered Czech company. After payment, an order enters our manual fulfillment queue. During operating hours, a specialist uses the customer-provided details to purchase the selected official e-vignette on the customer's behalf through the relevant verified official portal or authorised channel. The vehicle is covered only after registration is completed and from the validity shown in the official confirmation.
Bottom line
VignetteGO charges a service fee for a specialist to handle the official registration on your behalf, reduce language and administrative friction, and manage multiple countries from one order. Fulfillment is manual Mon–Sun, 06:00–18:00 CET/CEST. If that service is not useful to you, buy directly from the official portal.
